Corporate Tax is Only Sales Tax in Disguise.

corporations will never pay taxes no matter how much the rate is

With all the talk now-a-days about corporate tax rates and corporations such as GE not paying their "fair share" I thought it might be good to bring up a bit of logic to explain to people why corporations should not be taxed and also how even if you tax a corporation at 90% they will STILL not pay any taxes, not really anyway.

So here is how it works and if you are looking for a long read, sorry, this topic is just too simple. It all boils down to Corporations

Here Comes Skyrim: TES 5

It has been 5 years since Bethesda has updated their hit gaming world, The Elder Scrolls but in just 2 days (11/11/11) we will finally be able to get a copy of the newest edition to the Elder Scrolls lineup Skyrim. To say I am excited about this particular release would be an understatement. I am actually freaking out with anticipation.

The Great Depression; Disposing Myths

The Great Depression

One of the great myths about the great depression is that it was a failure of capitalism. Much as today, in 2011, the myth is rapidly spreading that our "Great Recession" is too, showing that somehow, it is a failure once again of capitalism.

To blame the great depression or even the problems of our own time on capitalism, simply ignores the truth of history.

Somebody once said, A Myth is like an Air Mattress. It is nice and comfortable but when you pull the plug out, you see that it is full of hot air.

Is Global Warming just Alarmist Propaganda?

global warming

I love and cherish the Earth as much as the next guy. Probably more so, I recycle, I hardly ever drive, I own an old car, rather than depleting the Earth and creating more pollution with the creation of a new car. I don't use pesticides or insecticides, I grow my own food (which limits pollution from industrial agriculture and gas used to ship food). I do quite a bit to make my footprint on the Earth as small as possible.

I Like Cars...

It's true, I am a car nut.

I would like to think of a point when I saw a car and said "yea, this really interests me" but in truth I can't. Seemingly, I have always been a car nut. I remember playing with my hot wheels (I had hundreds, if not thousands of these) throughout childhood. I would crash them into each other, race them down boards and throw them at my sister. Cars were just cool to me.

Animal/Human Hybrids? Genetic Armageddon? How Far Is Too Far?

I was reading the above referenced article and could not believe it. All over the globe, scientist are splicing together human genes with animal genes. This raises a very serious question. At what point does an animal gain human rights?
